Author, Wisdom J.O.Y. Makano is a poet and a philosopher. He has worked a lifetime studying ancient sources of knowledge, the wisdom of the sages, religious text, philosophy, and other esoteric volumes. His extensive research and wealth of knowledge has now culminated into his first book, The Best Kept Secrets of Personal Magnetism. The principles herein are based on the Golden Rule, “treat others as you would like to be treated.” The author says this is the “finest rule of conduct and the key to influencing people.” He explains this ancient doctrine was made famous by Jesus Christ and is still “the highest principle in the remotest of societies,” and how this rule was also taught by prophets and ancient wise men from many sects including the Hebrews, Greek, Chinese and the Indians.
There are explanations for how to use the laws of human nature and the golden rule for dynamic social or business change. You see that integrity, gratitude, and a genuinely, “caring attitude” can open doors to the success of the practitioner. The ultimate message is--a person does not have to be chosen or special, but can come from any walk of life, however humble, and still achieve their hearts desire by using these principles. However, the principles must be used for good, and not to manipulate others. Great men and women throughout time have used these proven techniques to change their personal lives and to change the world for the better.
This is also a book about leadership and how to develop a winning style for any situation. Since we do not achieve success alone we must learn how to influence others who can help us achieve our goals and dreams. This is a guide and reference book for how to do that and the truths found here can be tested, instantly, with the people in one’s life. They work equally as well with family and friends as with business associates. The author invites the reader to test all that he has written to their own satisfaction before accepting his statements. Now, there’s a winning formula in itself!
The Best Kept Secrets of Personal Magnetism has quickly become one of my favorite personal achievement books since Think and Grow Rich, was popular (again) in the 1970’s. While Think and Grow Rich, by Napoleon Hill, and Og Mandino’s, The Greatest Salesman in the World had a business feel about them, The Best Kept Secrets of Personal Magnetism,written by Wisdom J.O.Y. Makano, has a more holistic feel from the moment you open the book. The book is warm, inviting, uplifting, and naturally motivating in the sense it offers new hope for whatever one wants to accomplish, whether that is great leadership, more charm and charisma, or just wanting to be a happier person. The author says his book is for anyone who wants to set themselves apart by developing their own personal magnetism, not for the purpose of manipulation, but for the purpose of sharing their gifts with the world. I believe it is also for the truth seeker, the philosopher, the teacher, the salesman and almost anyone who wants to improve any area of their life. It is for the inspired and for those who want to be inspired, again. Author, Wisdom J.O.Y. Makano, has three more books soon to be published, Exalted Secrets of Brilliant Minds, The Central Mountain, and Emancipated Intelligence. I believe each of these will be a treasure for any who seek the best in themselves and others.
