The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle

Wow! What a great book. Around the year, 1998, I stopped reading books for a time. Having read a zillion books already and feeling saturated with all kinds of knowledge (tid bits), it seemed shamefull to not "bring something forth from the inside" rather than to keep packing more knowledge in, from the outside. I wanted to write about the spiritual world myself.

Then came that phase of fear and writer's block and the disgust and shame for having writer's block. There is no deeper pain than to be something inside, but to be unable to express it.

Eventually, I returned to reading and writing. Meditation helped me to do both. Meditation is about sitting and being who you are, right now, not yesterday, not who you are going to be at some future time. Meditation is about "now, the present moment." It is looking at the content in your mind, right now, and alowing what is there to be just fine; whatever you see is ok. It is all just passing thought so it is ok.

Eckhart Tolle, wrote The Power of Now in 1999. This book is a, timeless, wisdom for everyone and a must read for those who already see with spiritual eyes. Have a look into a book that is life-changing on many levels. Thank you, Eckhart Tolle. You are an excellent teacher. You've inspired me to return to "now" and to write from my heart. ~ S.
